What Is Coaching?

Coaching is a structured conversation between a coach and a client to help the client achieve their goals.

Every client is different and I will use the tools that are the most appropriate to your needs.

My coaching approach is evidence-based – I used tried and tested approaches that have been rigorously assessed for their effectiveness. I undertake training at the University of Sydney in Australia to master coaching techniques that produce the best results for the client.

With my help you seek to answer three broad questions.

  • Who am I? (e.g. self)
  • What do I want? (e.g. your aspirations)
  • How do I get there? (e.g. your habits)

Self

We explore together what is important for you and drive your motivation. Self knowledge is critical to be able to design the life you want. To pursue the goals that are right for you, you need to have a reasonable understanding of your values and where these come from. We also explore the place that these values have in your life and whether any adjustment needs to be made. For some people it can be life changing to understand the extent to which they live or not their values.

Aspirations

My coaching approach is here to help you paint a clearer picture of the various goals you are pursuing and decide how you will achieve them. We discuss together the extent to which your goals are aligned with your values. We also discuss how you can design your goals in a way that maximises the chance of success.

Focus

The conversation is centered on what can be done to get you to achieve your goals and aspirations. In this modern world, we get easily distracted from what is important to us. Developing productive habits become critical if we want to get to our destination. I can help you designing an action plan to change your habits and increase your productivity.
